Nominated for an Award?!

Hey guys!

Our delightful WLUW manager has asked us to submit 30 minutes of our favorite show as an entry in the College Broadcasters Inc. Awards! We will be submitting as part of the “Best Regularly Scheduled Entertainment Program” category, and really need help deciding what to submit.

Please help us end the program on the highest of the highest notes!We’ve chosen some of our favorites, but please feel free to write in your own submissions as well. You’re the best!

PS – We know the episode w TJ hasn’t aired yet, but we’ve heard it. It’s pretty funny.

Hiatus don’t hate us

Hey guys!

So we haven’t really shared this yet, but the Awkward Hour will be going on a much-needed hiatus after our May 10th episode. It has been an absolute blast doing the show, but also has required a lot of work on our end. And hey, we’re graduating from college and are just now starting our quest to live the American Dream.

If you have any interest in being on the show, please continue to email us at awkwardhour@gmail.com. We will save the account and all of our emails, so if/when we come back from our hiatus, we will definitely schedule you. You flatter us.

GOIN’ LIVE

Hey buddies,

The Awkward Hour is officially going LIVE starting with this evening’s interview with the terrific Elam brothers (Scott and Brett) from 8:30-10pm on 88.7FM.  Don’t worry if you can’t catch it tonight – we will continue to update the archives with all our new episodes a week after they air.
